Volta looks for a Producer

Widely considered one of the world's top concept art outsourcing studios, Volta is a Canadian company specialized in character design, environment design, storyboarding and illustration for the video games industry. Volta pools veteran talent from across the globe and is actively looking for top people who want to improve their art / craft as an ever-present ongoing work responsibility. Major clients include Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Sony and many others.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Manage the production of high-end visual assets and concept art for console games;
• Establish and meet budgets, schedules and quality benchmarks;
• Collaborate with team leads to create schedules and production plans;
• Continuously assess risk and develop risk-management strategies;
• Foster positive working relationships and communications within the team;
• Supervise production staff and provide regular feedback to assist with production;
• Manage and enhance relationship with studio clients and freelance talent;
• Assess and improve all procedures relevant to enact work responsibilities;

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Self-motivated individual;
• Organized, creative and self-confident;
• Team player looking forward to working with talented and experienced peers Must be flexible, capable of multi-tasking, capable of working well under pressure and capable of meeting deadlines;
• Must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills;
• Ability to work with Volta studio executives on business planning;
• Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint and database applications;
• Passion for games and visual development; Positive attitude and outlook
