RCGT.com: TP1 helps a Quebec accounting leader spotlight its experts

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT) relies on a team of over 2,000 professionals to deliver 65 categories of services. But how to highlight the people at the heart of this success?

RCGT entrusted montreal-based digital agency TP1 with designing and implementing a strategy to emphasize this expertise in a 2.0 environment. TP1 thus placed the firm’s experts at the heart of each new opportunity for interaction on the website and on social media platforms.

“The plan for the new RCGT website was very 2.0 to begin with, so our task was to integrate social web functions like article commenting while optimizing more traditional elements such as the numerous contact forms,” explains Issam Heddad, Strategist, TP1. “To create a more human connection between users and the website, we used a taxonomy system to associate experts with each of the site’s four main areas. RCGT experts can now share their knowledge with site visitors through a personal blog.”

In addition to producing functional wireframes, prototypes and graphic layouts to help RCGT envision the final result, TP1 also installed the WordPress open source content management system to make managing the site easier. This project was completed in collaboration with Cossette, who provided the business analysis for RCGT.com and created the initial wireframes and design.

“TP1’s ability to work as a team and to understand our vision were key ingredients to the success of this project. We are very happy with the result,” declares Sébastien Marcoux, Web Project Manager, RCGT.
